The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister launched the new scheme named as CM Kanyadan yojana. The purpose is to provide financial support to poor, needy and destitute families so they can marry off their daughters, widows, or divorcees. To help with the costs of their daughter’s wedding, families that qualify for the Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana can get a one time gift of Rs. 55,000. The girl must be of marriageable age, her parents must reside in Madhya Pradesh and the marriage must take place during the mass marriage (samuhik vivah yojna) program in order to qualify.

Applications may be sent offline to the Nagar Parishad, Municipal Corporation, Janpad Panchayat or Gram Panchayat. With the need that the female be at least 18th years old this help is provided in mass marriages.
CM Kanyadan Yojana

Eligibility Criteria

How to Apply Online
- Apply 15 days before the mass marriage date.
- The form may be downloaded online or obtained from the District Panchayat or Municipal Corporation.
- Fill all the forms given in Appendix-1.
- You have to attach all the necessary documents with it.
- Every application will be examined by the committee.
- On the marriage portal, the list of eligible and ineligible couples will be made public.
- Orders will be given to chosen couples.
- Couples who are not eligible will be notified.
- Brides who are ineligible may appeal within 30 days.
