Namo Lakshmi Yojana has been launched by the respected Finance Minister of the state, Shri Konu Bhai Desai Ji. Although this scheme was announced on 2 February 2024, but it is still getting approval. Through this scheme, financial assistance will be provided to the daughters of all the economically backward class families of the state. So that she can stand on her own feet.

• Through the Namo Lakshmi Yojana of the Government of Gujarat, all economically weaker girls will be able to study and lead a good life.
• Through this scheme, the state government will provide a scholarship of ₹10,000 to the girls studying in 9th and 10th of the state and financial assistance of ₹15,000 every year to the girls studying in 11th and 12th.
• Through this scheme, there will be no more burden on the parents of those girls who do not want to educate their girl child only due to financial condition.
• The target of the Government of Gujarat is that it will benefit 10 lakh girl students every year under the Namo Lakshmi Yojana.
