The government would give 5 lakh youths in the state Rs. 3 lakh each in financial assistance under the scheme so they may find self-employment possibilities in the state. A budget of 6000 crores has been set aside by the State Government to ensure the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam is implemented smoothly.

Selection Process
- The beneficiaries will be chosen based on how well they meet the eligibility requirements.
- The state government of Telangana will choose all of the residents who are now unemployed.
- The authorities will only choose young people from Telangana state who wish to launch their businesses there.

Mandal Level Verification
- The committee will assess if the candidate’s selected self-employment strategy is possible.
- The list of eligible candidates will be forwarded to bankers for loan eligibility verification and approval in the case of bank linkage programs, and to the District Officer of the appropriate company in the case of non-bank linkage schemes.
- All eligible candidates will have their bank loans approved by a competent banker following a comprehensive verification process.
- The District Level Committee (DLC) will receive the list and information about the non-operational bank accounts from the Mandal Level Committee for final approval and selection.
District Level Verification
- The District Level Committee (DLC) is in charge of making sure that beneficiaries are selected on schedule and that a selection committee is set up at the mandal level.
- Based on district specific objectives, the District Level Committee (DLC) will choose the recipient list for both bank linked and non-bank linked programs.
- To ensure the viability of self-employment units, it is not possible to approve more than one similar self-employment plan in the same community. (For example, avoiding several Kirana shops in the same hamlet).
- The beneficiaries must also correctly link with hand-holding organizations for ongoing help and get orientation training before grounding, which might take anywhere from one week to fifteen days, depending on the self-employment plan selected.
Training Process
- The required training, which might run anywhere from one week to fifteen days, will be provided to the selected beneficiaries through the linked training institutes.
- EDP training, which can take anywhere from one week to fifteen days must be provided before the scheme’s launch.
- The District Collector will provide a thorough training plan to each beneficiary who has been grouped based on the selected scheme or area of activity.
- Recognized state and federal government institutions must offer sector-specific training for different self-employment efforts.
