Objective Of Rajasthan Ration Card

The main objective of this ration card is to make affordable, subsidized food grains and other necessities available to the general population.

Types Of Ration Card

  • Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY): It guarantees the food security of the poorest families by providing them with 35 kg of food grains each month at discounted prices.
  • Below Poverty Line (BPL): It improves food security for everyone by ensuring low-income families have access to discounted food grains through the Public Distribution System (PDS).
  • Above Poverty Line (APL): Food grains are less affordable for households over the poverty level since there are little or no subsidies available.
  •  Priority Household (PHH): Eligible families get 5 kg of food grains per person per month under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) which promotes nutrition and food security.
