The state government of Chhattisgarh has announced Mahtari Vandana Yojana 15th Installment. The 15th payment of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana was paid by the Chhattisgarh government on 1 May 2025. In this installment, the Women and Child Development Department has transferred financial support of Rs 648.38 crore to more than 69.32 lakh women of the state directly to their bank accounts using Direct Benefit Transfer. Women are becoming more self-sufficient as a result of this state government effort. Since the scheme’s March 2024 beginning, a total of Rs 9788.78 crore has been distributed over the course of 15 months.
Mahtari Vandana Yojana
The state government of Chhattisgarh launched the Mahtari Vandan Yojana to provide women in the state more financial support. In order to enable women to meet their own requirements and become independent, this scheme provides them with a monthly financial assistance of Rs.1000.
Women in the state who meet all of the eligibility criteria for the scheme and are between the ages of 23 and 60 are eligible to receive benefits.
