How to Receive Benefits
- The employee or pensioner has to come to the hospital for Vidya Mitra registration.
- Continue with the biometric verification if the patient has a permanent health card. Otherwise, continue to MEDCO for a preliminary diagnostic.
- Following diagnosis and screening, ascertain if the patient requires inpatient or outpatient treatment.
- For inpatient care, register as an inpatient; for outpatient care, register as an outpatient.
- Start the e-preauthorization process for inpatients to get treatment approval.
- The patient has surgery or therapy after being approved.
- Once the patient has recovered, discharge them, start the cost claim procedure, and, if required, provide follow-up treatment.
