For victims of traffic accidents, the Indian government has announced a Cashless Treatment Scheme Hospital List. Residents of India can now visit the official website to view the list of hospitals that have been approved under the cashless road accident treatment program. The Indian government has built a 17-member committee to ensure the scheme is performed appropriately and that all eligible people get the assistance. Around 30,000 hospitals are part of the Cashless Treatment Scheme.
About Cashless Treatment Scheme
The central government launched the Cashless Treatment Scheme to help people hurt in traffic accidents; victims will receive financial support from the government. The government announced the program on May 5th, and locals can begin receiving benefits on that day as well. Up to ₹1.5 lakh in free medical care is available to anyone hurt in a traffic accident at authorized (empanelled) hospitals. If the approved hospital cannot give the required treatment, the patient can be treated at another hospital without having to pay anything.

The prime aim of declaring the list of empanelled hospitals is to assist Indian residents in easily finding out which hospitals offer cashless treatment under the scheme. With the help of this scheme, the Indian government wants to reduce the death ratio that occurs every year due to road accidents, and no one wants to help the victims. So, the government decided to provide no-cash treatment to the victims. The National Health Authority and a 17-member committee set up by the government will be in charge of running the scheme.
